Limited Warranties
Standard boxed products, OEM and software
All new products are sold with the manufacturer's limited warranty. The warranty period and service varies by manufacturer and product. Rosh-Tech does not warrant other manufacturers' products. The products are backed by the limited warranties of the original manufacturer or publisher only. Consult your product documentation for specific limited warranty information. Downloaded software is subject to the EULA and may not come with manuals or disks. We recommend you review the software publisher's policy about manuals and disks prior to your purchase of the software
Rosh-Tech Servers and computers
Rosh-Tech servers and computers are sold with a 2 years return to base warranty. The standard warranty can be upgraded to one of the following for an additional charge at the time of purchase.
- 3 years return to base
- 3 years onsite next business day response
- 3 years onsite business day 4 hour response
The response time refers to the maximum amount of time it takes for a Rosh-Tech technician to respond to the warranty situation. This may mean that a technician will be onsite within the response timeframe, or it may mean that the technician is working remotely on the warranty situation. The response time is not referring to a resolution time, which will normally be longer.
The server and computer warranty includes all the standard components, such as case, motherboard, memory, CPU, HDD, optical drive etc, but does not cover items such as enhanced graphic cards, non standard power supplies, tape drives, USB sticks, monitors etc. The non-standard items are covered by the manufacturer's warranties referred to above.
Rosh-Tech will make its best effort to process the server or computer warranty and to return it back to the user in the shortest possible timeframe. However, this will be dependant on the individual components manufacturers' supply stock and their warranty processing resources.
***Important: the server and computer warranty covers the repair or replacement of the faulty hardware components only. It does not include
- reloading the operating system
- troubleshooting operating system issues eg: registry faults
- loading software
- virus attacks
- data recovery
- recommissioning the network environment
- any other service that is not included in repairing or replacing the faulty components
We strongly recommend that you utilise an imaging program, such as ShadowProtect or Ghost, so that you can recover your server reliably and quickly in the event of a hardware warranty situation.
